About AI just dropped

What we are

AI just dropped is a publication of record for newly-released AI. New tools, models, and agents ship every week — and most of them are wrapped in hype, vague specs, and pricing pages that contradict themselves. We cut through that. Every release gets an honest, opinionated review with the facts laid out and sourced.

What we cover

We review three kinds of things:

• Tools — products and apps you use directly.
• Models — foundation and open models you build on.
• Agents — autonomous agents and agent platforms.

Each entity gets its own page that grows over time: our verdict (with a score once we've gone hands-on, or a clearly labeled first look until then), the sourced facts (specs, pricing, capabilities), how to use it, pros and cons, alternatives, and an FAQ. As more coverage accumulates — news, comparisons — it collects there too.

Our promise

Two layers, kept separate. The editorial layer — our verdict, our score, our take — is opinion, and we say so plainly. The factual layer — pricing, specs, capabilities — is sourced to the vendor, the provider API, or official docs, with a verification date. We don't invent numbers. If we can't verify a fact, we leave it out.
